Baritone saxophonist Carl Blouin Sr. is a top-tier New Orleans musician, music and maths teacher, and high school principal and finance director who can be heard on many iconic recordings, including LaBelle's "Lady Marmalade" and "Fire on the Bayou" by The Neville Brothers. He was one of the legendary Sea-Saint studios horn sections arranged by Allen Toussaint. He was also one of The Royal Dukes of Rhythm with Wardell Quezergue and others.
